About the Role
Redefined Staffing LLC is seeking highly specialized Registered Nurses for ICU/ Critical Care to meticulously observe and treat patients with life-threatening conditions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensuring that the community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care.
Patient monitoring and assessment at least every hour
Patient repositioning and skin integrity check
Provide emotional support to patient and family members
Constant critical thinking and preparation for every possible care scenario
Collecting, and reporting occurrences, and if necessary, assist in developing/implementing improvement plans.
Review each patient’s medical history, taking note of important information
Provide patients and their family members or caretakers with information about home recovery, including any restrictions on diet or activity
Partnering with administrators and other team members to maintain resident and team member health safety.
Partners with pharmacy consultants to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
Implementing infection control practices in the facility.
Safe and efficient distribution/administration of medications, injections, nebulizers, moderate wound care per state regulations, as needed when floor nurse is not available.
Identifies ongoing needs and services of patients for residents with a change in health care status.
Completing any assigned evaluations.
Partner with other department coordinators to identify, review, and discuss the potential changes in service/medication levels and updates the resident’s service plan as indicated by state regulations.
Maintaining communications with patient’s family and/or responsible party regarding changes in care or health concerns.
Using knowledge and practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; Joint Commission, state and local laws; Patient’s Bill of Rights.
Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in nursing
Must hold a valid RN license for the State of NC
Current valid ACLS and Basic Life certification required.

An understanding of medical technology and equipment
Strong assessment skills, giving you the ability to detect subtle changes in your patient’s condition
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
In-depth knowledge of medications and their actions, including interactions, side effects, and dosage calculations
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Strong communication skills
The ability to handle end-of-life issues
Ability to work well in a team environment – in the ICU, you are a critical member of a complete care team including physicians, specialists, aides, and other medical professionals.
The ability to rapidly make a decision and take instant action
Negative Covid 19 Test from the last 14 days
Required to pass a background check and drug screening
