About the Role
Redefined Staffing, LLC Staffing is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to be responsible and accountable for the delivery of quality care to residents in an Assisted Living Facility/ Long Term Care (LTC). The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)/ License Practical Nurse (LPN).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
Answering resident’s calls and determining how best to help them.
Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
Ensure that beds are made; trash has been removed, meals are served to the residents and a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room.
Taking vital signs and reporting observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
Practicing infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State, and facility requirements.
Documenting in Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) resident flow-sheet promptly, accurately, and completely.
Making routine and frequent rounds ensuring that safety precautions and equipment are in place and are in working order.
Avoiding the development of skin problems or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning of residents that need assistance.
Assisting the activities department with activities for the residents.
Stay up to date on Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and facility policy and procedure.
Using knowledge and practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; Joint Commission, state and local laws; Patient’s Bill of Rights.
State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
One (1) year prior assistant living/long-term care experience preferred.
Good verbal, written, and reading skills
Valid BLS/CPR (American Heart Association).
High School graduate or equivalent.
Negative Covid 19 Test from the last 14 days
Required to pass a background check and drug screens
