
About the Role
Redefined Staffing, LLC is seeking quality Registered Nurses (RN) to fulfill the requirements to residents in an Assisted Living Facility/ Long Term Care (LTC). The Registered Nurse(RN) will work within their scope of practice to be fully accountable for ensuring that competent care and safety are consistently delivered to all residents.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining communications with Healthcare Providers of recent changes or requests for orders.
Ensuring that the community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care.
Collecting, and reporting occurrences, and if necessary, assist in developing/implementing improvement plans.
Partnering with administrators and other team members to maintain residents’ and team member’s health and safety.
Partners with pharmacy consultants to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
Implementing infection control practices within the facility.
Safe and efficient distribution/administration of medications, injections, nebulizers, moderate wound care per state regulations, as needed
Identifying ongoing needs and services of residents for
Completing any assigned evaluations.
Partnering with other department coordinators to identify, review, and discuss the potential changes in the service and medication levels
Updates the resident’s service plan as indicated by state regulations.
Maintaining communications with resident’s family and/or responsible party regarding changes in care or health concerns.
Using knowledge and practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; Joint Commission, state and local laws; Patient’s Bill of Rights.
Requirements
Have an active Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of NC
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
Thorough knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
One (1) year prior assistant living/long-term care experience preferred.
Good verbal, written, and reading skills
Valid BLS/CPR (American Heart Association).
Negative Covid 19 Test from the last 14 days
Required to pass a background check and drug screening
