About the Role

Redefined Staffing, LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapists to be responsible and accountable for the delivery of remarkable patient care on a critical care unit, ICU, Med Surg, and in the Emergency Department. The Respiratory Therapists must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Viewing patient holistically; considers physical, psychosocial, emotional, age-specific, cultural, and spiritual factors and demonstrates appropriate assessment skills for an identified patient population.
Evaluating patient and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
Promoting continuous quality improvement.
Teaching and counseling patients/families.
Maintaining good rapport and cooperative relationships.
Approaching conflict in a constructive manner.
Maintaining the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patients, physicians, associates, and visitors.
Discussing patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.
Assuming responsibility for the performance of job duties in the safest possible manner.
Providing services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of respiratory therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
Following patients plan of care
Providing treatments
Observing and reporting the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in his/her condition to the physician and the supervising nurse
Keeping appropriate records.

Requirements

  • Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

  • Current state licensure is required.

  • ACLS is required

  • One (1) year of related experience is preferred.

  • Negative Covid 19 Test from the last 14 days

  • Required to pass a background check and drug screening
